Harvest 2017 brought us one of our best vintages, accompanied by the loss of Sallie Campbell. This wine is dedicated to our founding matriarch Sallie Campbell and represents the qualities of character that she exemplified. Grace is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Gamay, all grown in one unique vineyard on the Old Mission Peninsula. There is a great deal of depth in this wine, wrapped in complex fruit from each of the 3 varieties, while showcasing a level of elegance that only comes from this particular vineyard; much in the way Sallie Campbell represented herself to everyone, with Grace.

Tasting notes:
Grace is a wine unlike most, in that it incorporates
varieties not often blended - Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Gamay. The
Merlot and Cab Franc give the wine structure and depth, while the Gamay acts as
an aromatic lift on the nose, and adds brightness on the palate. When you
savor this wine think deeply-hued fruit of the woods, wrapped in the spice of
fine European oak, while being lifted by the aromatics of delicate
wisteria. This wine will pair well with heartier cuisine and grilled
meats.
