Flavor and Aroma:

This dry wine expresses lush aromas of pomegranate and strawberry preserves, underpinned by traces of cigar box and toasted vanilla. On the palate, this medium-to-full-bodied wine possesses jammy notes of blueberries and blackberries, punctuated with delicate white pepper spice and subtle hints of fennel. The finish features a note of wet slate.

Winemaker Comments:

The grapes in the 2020 Isidor's Choice Terrace Red hail from some of our grower partner's best vineyards. The Teroldego grape originally comes from northern Italy and gives the blend a great depth of color and a "wild" fruit profile. Cabernet Franc and Merlot add a little class to the blend, softening the "savage" character while giving the wine added depth.
