This approachable Bordeaux-style blend offers aromas of raspberry and plum sitting atop undertones of warm wood spice and mocha. On the palate, this dry, medium-bodied wine is well-balanced and possesses flavors of black cherry and cassis, with delicate notes of black tea and allspice

Aging Potential:
This wine is stellar now but, with appropriate cellaring, will develop exceptionally during the next 5 to 10 years.

Enjoy this wine with hearty meals, braised meats such as venison, lamb, and beef or rich pastas and stews. Suggested dishes include, beef wellington, pot roast, and rack of lamb.

Winemaker Comments:

This vineyard continues to astound everyone who works in it or with the fruit it provides. Year after year, it produces some of the best grapes in the state. Thus allowing our winemaking team the opportunity to shape some of the best wines made in Michigan. Good things come to those who wait; we have been patiently waiting, as this vintage has already been in the bottle for over a year. Currently, it is youthful and drinking very well. In another 5-10 years, it will only get better.
